Real Families – Real Businesses

The Broons - just the sort of family that will be forcibly separated if we have independence
Vote Labour or Daphne and Hen will never get to visit their Aunt Jessie doon Sooth!!! Help ma boab Tony's havering.

Only a couple of weeks ago McConnell and Brown were calling for the business community to "join in the debate on Scotland's constitutional future". Oops. Former Royal Bank of Scotland chairman Sir George Mathewson yesterday backed SNP leader Alex Salmond for first minister saying independence could liberate Scotland from a "dependency culture". George claimed Labour was creating a "fear culture" about independence writing: "It's difficult to forecast the future, but I see no circumstance where independence would be a serious [economic] disadvantage."

Bambi’s furious. This was supposed to be another one of those moment where he ‘personally’ goes and takes the thing by the scruff of the neck and sorts out the campaign. It’s how he likes to act.

"You talk to real businesses, talk to the types of people I have just been addressing, and look at the impact of separation on real businesses and real families” he squealed yesterday.

What, the Royal Bank of Scotland isn’t a real business? I mean they’re charlatan cheating scumbag capitalist bankers like the rest of them, but they’re a real business aren’t they?

In fact they’re the world's fifth biggest bank.

What about real families? This one is sweet and hasn’t really been trotted out since Oban.

I’m assuming they’re meaning real families not adopted families, gay families, sitcom families, or The Broons? He’s got a point.

Can you imagine how it could be trying to visit your sister in Newcastle if we had independence? Just think of those poor Danes locked away from any relatives throughout Europe, or the Irish. The poor Irish. Separation. Makes you think. Maybe safer to vote labour after all. Don’t want to be separated from my family.

Go here to save the family, (and don't worry about all those boil-faced Labour members in the banner).

believe me i am all for independence but one possible by-product is that huge companies like RBS could hold the government to ransom.

this is pretty cool, gus: if you follow your last link, you notice that independence will not only break scottish families, it will also leave scottish families broke... wow! ;-)

Hi - yeah broken and broke, washed up on the shores of despair just like the Norwegians, the Icelandic, the Danes and the Irish. Poor bastards.

Tubthumper, you have a good point, thats why the goal is to transform Scotland not just make it a capitalist replica of Britain. The sort of new democratic space we want to create is in our hands.
