Never Mind the Financial Corruption

As You Scotland put it yesterday:
"New Labour is so intoxicated with power, institutionally corrupt, that it thinks there is nothing wrong with anything until you get caught. Then its all the fault of the lowest placed guy in the food chain that they can pin the blame on. Blatant fraud. The police should be called in once more and this time some big heads should roll."
But never mind the financial corruption, some of the people turning up in the Brown camp aren't the sort you'd want to leave in charge of the kids.
David McKilcullen is apparently a new advisor to Gordon Brown. He has connections to Paul Wolfowitz and has advised the US commander in Iraq. According to the current edition of Private Eye (p.6) he is an enthusiast for the vietnam war and particularly the Phoenix programme of selective assassination and model villages.
Things can only get better.
