Now I'm as shook up as the next man about poor Wendy's career unwinding like the rubber band holding together a big fat wad of cash. But in these harsh times someones got to keep a clear head.
Obviously, Wendy's got to go. But who - who? - could take over from the pile of halfwits, futilitarians, hacks, dumbells and jumped-up nobodys that puncture the body politic of Scottish Labour like a welter of old sores?
Could it be Tom McCabe, the Nobody's Nobody? Could it be Jackie Baillie the stalwart defender of Weapons of Mass Destruction? No. With Alistair Darling covering himself with glory at the Home Office and John Reid gone to bring a softer touch to the Celtic Boardroom, there is only one man equipped for this job. One with the gravitas, the experience, the media savvy and the grit to give it to the Gnats....Send for the Baron!!!!!
