Obama won the election not just with pots of dosh but with a strategy that mimicked genuine grassroots organisation. Best of all viral messaging including the video below, which is sheer genius. It's got black characters but refers to an iconic ad campaign by Budweiser - bang in the middle of mainstream American psyche - but the message - the countrys changed since the 'good old days' when you were sitting around with your mates drinking beer - is superb. Another aspect of the viral medium was the text chain: 'Rosa sat so that martin could stand so that Obama could run, so that your children could soar...'
